Best Earbuds Under ₹2000
Updated 5 November 2026
Under ₹2,000, earbuds have converged: 13 mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, a quad-microphone array and a low-latency gaming mode are now standard. What still differs is how long they actually run, how well the microphones work on calls, and whether the case has a cable or not.
Playtime numbers on these listings are total playtime including recharges from the case, not one continuous session. A "70-hour" pair is usually 7–9 hours in the buds plus four or five case recharges.
The six picks were verified on Amazon India on the date shown. There are dozens of ₹300–₹500 earbuds on the same search page with no ratings at all; they are deliberately excluded because there is no way to verify them.

- AI-ENC microphones and a dedicated low-latency gaming mode.

- Quad-microphone ENx noise cancellation for calls — the same microphone setup as boAt's pricier models.
- Dual EQ modes switch the sound profile between bass-heavy and balanced.
- ASAP charge and boAt's service network across India.
Watch out: 50 hours total is the shortest battery claim in this guide, and the rating is slightly below the Mivi and Boult picks.

- 45 ms low-latency mode for video and games.
- Quad-microphone ENC for voice calls.
- Health monitoring and fast charging at ₹999.

- 100 hours of total playtime is the highest claim in this guide.
- A rubber-grip case that survives being dropped in a bag.

GOBOULT Astra Neo TWS Earbuds
13 mm BoomX drivers · Bluetooth 5.4 · 70 h with case · Zen ENC mic · 40 ms latency · Type-C
Best for: The best mix of battery, latency and price
- Bluetooth 5.4 — the newest version in this guide — for steadier pairing.
- 70 hours total playtime and 10 minutes of charging gives about 100 minutes of listening.
- 40 ms latency, the lowest here, for games and video.
Watch out: The listing headline says "40 mm bass driver" while the bullet points say 13 mm. Trust the 13 mm figure — 40 mm would not fit in an earbud.
Approx. ₹1,099

boAt Nirvana Ion TWS Earbuds
Quad mic ENx · multipoint · up to 120 h with case · 13 mm drivers · Bluetooth 5.3
Best for: Work calls and switching between phone and laptop
- Multipoint connectivity keeps the earbuds paired to a phone and a laptop at the same time.
- Quad-microphone ENx array — the most capable call setup in this guide.
- The highest rating here at 4.1, with 120 hours of total playtime.
Watch out: The most expensive pick at ₹1,599 — nearly double the Mivi. The extra money buys call quality and multipoint, not louder bass.

How to read playtime claims
Every "70-hour" or "100-hour" figure is total playtime: the earbuds plus every recharge the case can give them. Divide by the case's recharge count to estimate a single session.
Single-session life is what matters for a commute or a workout. Most of these pairs run 6–10 hours per charge, which covers a full workday of listening without the case.
Fast charge is the more practical number. Boult claims 10 minutes of charging gives about 100 minutes of playback on the Astra Neo — enough to rescue a dead pair before a call.
Watch for listings that disagree with themselves. The Mivi DuoPods Echo title says 60 hours and its bullet points say 70; treat either figure as a ceiling, not a promise.
| Earbuds | Total with case | Single session (listed) |
|---|---|---|
| Mivi DuoPods Echo | 60 h (title) / 70 h (bullet) | 8.5 h |
| boAt Airdopes 141 | 50 h | Not stated |
| Boult Z40 Pro | 100 h | Not stated |
| Boult Astra Neo | 70 h | Not stated |
| boAt Nirvana Ion | 120 h | 24 h claimed |
What the microphones can and cannot do
ENC means environmental noise cancellation for the microphone: it filters background noise out of what the other person hears. It does not cancel noise for you — that is ANC, which does not exist at this price.
A quad-microphone array with ENC is noticeably better on calls than a single mic, especially in traffic and markets. All the picks here claim ENC; the boAt models use boAt's ENx implementation.
For online classes and work calls, the earbud microphones are adequate indoors. Outdoors, expect the other person to hear some traffic regardless of the ENC claim.
Latency, fit and water resistance
Latency is the delay between the video and the sound. Above roughly 100 ms it is noticeable in games and lip-sync; the 40–45 ms modes here are fine for casual gaming but must be switched on — they usually trade some battery life.
Fit decides sound more than drivers do. All of these are in-ear designs with silicone tips; if the medium tip does not seal, bass disappears. Try all three tip sizes before judging the earbuds.
IPX4 is sweat and light splash. IPX5 would survive a jet of water. None of these should be worn in the shower, and rain can void the warranty.
Questions we get asked
Are ₹800 earbuds good enough for calls?
For indoor calls and classes, yes. The Mivi DuoPods Echo has AI-ENC microphones and a 4.0 rating at ₹799. For calls from traffic, the ₹1,599 boAt Nirvana Ion with quad-mic ENx is noticeably better.
Do these earbuds have active noise cancellation?
No. At this price you get ENC, which filters noise for the person listening to you. ANC, which blocks noise for you, starts well above ₹2,000.
Why are there no ₹300 earbuds in this list?
The ₹300–₹500 listings on the same search page mostly have no ratings or ratings below 3. There is no reliable way to verify them, so they are excluded rather than recommended on price alone.
